Jackie Lupkes, Life Enrichment Director

As the Life Enrichment Director here at Old Main Village, it is my job to make sure our residents have lots of activities to partake in. I’ve been referred to as the “Jackie of all trades” as I’m always busy doing a little bit of everything. I’ve been that way every since I was young, growing up on a farm near the Iowa/Minnesota border.

I graduated from Northwood-Kensett High School in 2001. From there I spent two years at Buena Vista University before transferring to Minnesota State University, Mankato. In July 2006, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services.

Outside of work, I truly enjoy spending time with family and friends. My boyfriend Carl and I like to explore Minnesota’s wonderful natural resources (although I will always be an Iowa girl at heart!), as we’ve had some pretty humorous canoeing expeditions and some awestruck moments as we witness God’s creative beauty. And just like any true female, to me there isn’t much that beats a great shopping expedition!

As one of the newest staff members, I feel as though Old Main is truly one big family, and the residents are my surrogate grandparents. What a wonderful environment to be part of every day!
