My name is Pat Glade. I am the Resident Services Coordinator at Old Main Village. This is not my first stint at Old Main, as I received my Bachelor’s degree from Mankato State University and attended many classes in this very building many years ago.

After graduating from Mankato State in 1961, I taught for one year at Winona Senior High School in Winona, MN. Then I married my husband and was a full-time homemaker until the fall of 1988 when I started graduate school in Mankato and earned my Master’s degree in Gerontology. After an internship with the Region Nine Area Agency on Aging, I went to work for Lutheran Social Service Guardianship Services. There I worked as a court-appointed guardian for vulnerable adults. I retired from there at the end of 2001 after and eleven year career.

My husband is a retired Lutheran pastor. We have three married children and six grandchildren. We love traveling, gardening and landscaping. I also love photography, reading and currently am addicted to Sudoku.
